Representatives from LPBank and the University of Economics - Da Nang University signed a cooperation agreement.
Accordingly, the two sides agreed to implement a cooperation agreement on programs for sharing knowledge and practical skills in finance and investment, career guidance activities, internships and recruitment, scientific research, human resource training, and financial support for students.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Huy - Member of the Board of Directors - clearly expressed his desire to cooperate with the university: “ LPBank and Da Nang University have had a long-standing relationship. Since 2009, Lien Viet Post Bank has sponsored the construction of the dormitory of the Kon Tum branch of Da Nang University.”
Therefore, LPBank wishes to continue sharing its vision and aspirations for training high-quality human resources in the economic, financial, and banking sectors .”
At the program, LPBank's leadership representatives also pledged to provide the best incentives for the university and its students; support the university in its educational development; and expressed their hope that the University of Economics would collaborate with LPBank in training and scientific research to meet the demand for high-quality human resources in the current era of digital transformation.
Responding to those expectations, Dr. Huynh Thi Hong Hanh, Vice Rector of the University of Economics, stated that the cooperation between the Bank and the University of Economics is an opportunity for students to experience and further bridge the gap between theory and practice, between academic knowledge and practical knowledge, and between professional skills and vocational skills: " LPBank's support, both materially and spiritually, is a tremendous resource that helps the university and students ignite their dreams and illuminate their future on the journey towards knowledge and creating a better future ."
On the same day, the "Choose a Career - Build a Career with LPBank" internship program between the two institutions was successfully held. This was an opportunity for students to learn and experience a professional working environment at one of the commercial banks with a large network in Vietnam, and also the first step in realizing the cooperation agreement signed between LPBank and the University of Economics.
Through the "Choose a Career - Build a Career with LPBank" program, students will have the opportunity to become interns in positions such as Corporate Customer Specialist, Personal Customer Specialist, Teller, etc., with an intensive training and apprenticeship program lasting a minimum of 3 months, and will receive a salary and bonuses.
Upon completion of the training course, interns also have the opportunity to receive official employment at LPBank with attractive benefits and a clear, transparent career advancement path.
As part of the program, LPBank awarded 10 scholarships totaling 50 million VND to students with outstanding academic achievements and who have overcome difficulties to succeed.
