These are the heartfelt words of Major Tran Thi An Binh, Finance Assistant of Regiment 932, Can Tho City Military Command, when speaking about her family life. Although working in two different units and undertaking separate tasks, she and her husband, Captain Cao Bang Giang, Head of the Engineering Warehouse, 9th Military Region Staff, always share a common ground: a love for the military uniform and pride in contributing a small part to the land of the nine dragons.

As the Financial Assistant of Regiment 932, Major Tran Thi An Binh consistently demonstrates a high sense of responsibility, proactiveness, and meticulousness in every task, contributing to the unit's effective financial management. Her efforts and dedication have been recognized with numerous outstanding achievements, including the title of "Outstanding Soldier at the grassroots level" in 2021, 2023, 2024, and 2025. Facing the demands of digital transformation in financial management, she proactively studies and updates her knowledge to enhance her professional skills and meet the requirements of her duties.

Speaking about her career success, Ms. Binh modestly attributed it to meeting her "other half." In 2015, Mr. Giang and Ms. Binh were both recruited into the Army and participated in a national defense and security training course at the Military School of Military Region 7. Their shared days of study and training helped them gradually understand and appreciate each other. Their feelings blossomed from the simple things of military life, and after getting to know each other for a while, they decided to tie the knot in a warm, traditional Western-style wedding in early 2017.

The life of Ms. Binh and her husband was like that of many other military families, with all the ups and downs of daily life. Ms. Binh recalled that the most difficult time was when she gave birth to her first child. Being a first-time mother, she was inexperienced, and with her husband often away on business, she had to manage caring for the baby alone. On nights when the baby was sick, she would hold and comfort her child while hoping for the morning to come so that more people could help.

Over time, Ms. Binh gradually adapted to the rhythm of balancing childcare and fulfilling her duties at the unit. Due to the nature of Mr. Giang's work, which often keeps him away from home, Ms. Binh largely takes care of the family. Therefore, whenever he has the opportunity to return home, he takes advantage of the time to share household chores and childcare to ease his wife's burden. The joy of their small family is further complete now that their firstborn son is 8 years old, well-behaved and studious. These days, the small family is also happily awaiting the arrival of their second member. With a strong support system, Captain Cao Bang Giang feels even more secure in his work and strives to complete his duties well.

Life ahead still holds many challenges, but with their love for each other and pride in their profession, Major Tran Thi An Binh and Captain Cao Bang Giang always encourage each other to strive in their work, while also nurturing and preserving their family home.
