The "Matrix" of Fake Dietary Supplements

Recently, authorities have uncovered numerous businesses involved in the processing and distribution of counterfeit dietary supplements. In reality, dietary supplements are created to improve health, provide nutritional support, and prevent disease. However, many products advertised as "tonic" are now secretly causing harm. Products once promoted as boosting immunity, supporting cardiovascular health, improving skin, or supplementing vitamins are now suspected of silently harming consumers' health. This raises concerns among consumers because while anything can be faked, the harm to health is real.

Given the aforementioned situation, the public hopes that authorities will strengthen inspections of companies producing and trading pharmaceuticals and dietary supplements; resolutely revoke the production licenses of violating companies and publicly disclose the infringing products. Authorities and consumer protection organizations need to establish official channels of information for the public regarding counterfeit and substandard dietary supplements. At the same time, stricter regulations are needed regarding the quality management process for pharmaceutical products, especially dietary supplements.

In Binh Duong , the Market Management Department has announced the address and hotline number for receiving and processing information and complaints from the department's leaders and market management teams. Accordingly, to promptly handle violations, citizens can report and complain about the business of smuggled goods, the production and sale of counterfeit goods, prohibited goods, goods of unknown origin; violations related to quality, measurement, pricing, food safety, and commercial fraud; violations of laws protecting consumer rights; and other violations to the Binh Duong Provincial Market Management Department at 03 Huynh Van Nghe Street, Phu Loi Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province; phone number: 02743.822.681; email: tchcqlttbinhduong@gmail.com.
