In Tam Anh commune, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune organized the handover of a house to Mr. Tran Minh Ba (residing in Duc Bo 2 village). Mr. Ba is a household in extremely difficult circumstances, living alone, suffering from a serious illness, and no longer able to work. For many years, he had to live in a dilapidated, temporary house that posed a serious safety risk, especially during the rainy and stormy season.

The house for Mr. Tran Minh Ba was started on September 11, 2025 and completed on November 25, 2025. The house is solidly built, ensuring essential living conditions. The total construction cost is 105 million VND, of which the Vietnam Investment and Development Bank ( BIDV ) contributed 60 million VND; the Farmers' Association of the commune contributed 10 million VND, and the remaining funds were contributed by the Youth Union of the commune and the people of Duc Bo 2 village through labor, painting, and finishing work.

Mr. Huynh Luong Trung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Anh commune, said that during the construction process, they encountered many difficulties due to prolonged rainy weather, affecting the construction progress. However, with a sense of responsibility and determination to quickly complete stable housing for Mr. Ba's family, the construction unit and supporting forces promptly implemented the project, ensuring quality and progress as required. The completion and commissioning of the project before the Lunar New Year not only brought great joy to Mr. Ba personally, but also clearly demonstrated the efforts of the Fatherland Front and other organizations in mobilizing resources and caring for the poor and vulnerable in the area.

Overwhelmed with emotion upon receiving his new, spacious, and sturdy house, Mr. Tran Minh Ba shared: “Without the care and assistance of the local government, organizations, and people, I could hardly have dreamed of having a safe place to live like today. This new house not only provides my family with peace of mind, but also serves as a great source of encouragement for me to overcome my illness and continue striving in life.”

According to Huynh Minh Phat, Secretary of the Youth Union of Tam Anh commune, the participation of Youth Union members in providing labor and painting/repairing houses for disadvantaged households demonstrates the pioneering spirit and responsibility of young people in social welfare work. This contributes to spreading the spirit of mutual support and compassion, and strengthening community bonds.

Not only in Tam Anh commune, but this spirit of sharing continues to spread in Thu Bon commune. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hop, President of the Women's Union of the commune, said that the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai (residing in A Dong village) is in difficult circumstances. Ms. Hai's house, built a long time ago, is now severely dilapidated, with cracked walls, a broken roof, and leaks after many storms, posing a potential safety risk.

Meanwhile, her husband is suffering from stage 3 lung cancer, rendering him unable to work, and she herself is in poor health, frequently ill, yet remains the primary breadwinner, both earning a living and caring for her two young children who are of school age. Given this situation, in order to help Ms. Hai's family repair their house and stabilize their lives for Tet (Lunar New Year), the Women's Union of the commune actively appealed for support from benefactors.

Through fundraising efforts, the Association received support from Oneway Social Connection Co., Ltd. with 106.5 million VND; Dao Hien Steel and Roofing with 10 million VND; Mr. Phan Ngoc Minh, Deputy Director of Phan Ngoc Anh Co., Ltd., and many other benevolent organizations and individuals... According to Ms. Hop, this project has profound humanitarian significance, not only helping Ms. Hai's family have a safe and stable place to live, but also creating conditions for the children to attend school with peace of mind and continue to nurture their dreams of learning.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son, Chairman of the Thu Bon Commune People's Committee, affirmed that the repair of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai's house, with the collective efforts of the entire community, has contributed to spreading humanitarian values and strengthening people's trust in the care of the Party, the State, and mass organizations. These are not only sturdy houses that withstand the sun and rain, but also a source of spiritual support, providing motivation for people to welcome the Year of the Horse with faith and hope for a better future.
