With this victory, Man City has 56 points, one point more than Arsenal and only one point behind Liverpool. This makes the top-of-the-table situation very unpredictable.
In the race for the top four, MU are currently only 5 points behind Aston Villa. Tottenham are also in a competitive position, being 3 points ahead of MU and 2 points behind Aston Villa. The bottom three positions in the league table are occupied by Luton (19 points), Burnley (13 points), and Sheffield United (13 points).
Tonight, or early tomorrow morning, the early match of round 26 will take place between Liverpool and Luton. If they win, The Kop will once again create a 4-point gap over Man City, but will have played one more game than their rivals.
