Feast your eyes on the paragliding performance at Co To island district

This special paragliding performance was performed by Sky Rider Team, members from many provinces and cities in the northern region. After 2 years, this is the second time Sky Rider Team has returned to Co To to perform.

The performance attracted a large number of people and tourists gathered at the National Monument Square of President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site on Co To Island to watch the paragliders hover.

The pilots performed many difficult aerial techniques, lining up in formation at an altitude of 50 to 100 meters above sea level.

The performance team consisted of 6 motorized paragliders, departing from Hong Van beach (Dong Tien commune) and flying 4km to the Square.

All of them were carrying the Party flag and the Vietnamese national flag flying in the sky, making many people excited and proud. When the group landed safely, there was applause and cheers from the locals and tourists.

Mr. Vu Tuan Dung, a member of Sky Rider Team, shared: “Co To is an extremely sacred island of the Fatherland. In the atmosphere of celebrating major holidays, we wish to spread love for the country and national pride to everyone; at the same time, create attractive tourism products, contributing to promoting Co To tourism to domestic and international friends”.

6 paragliders hovering over the beautiful sea and island scenery of Co To.

From a height of about 200 meters, the entire Co To island appears like a vivid ink painting. The rows of casuarina trees stretch along the coast, the bright red roofs appear and disappear under the green canopy, and in the distance are small islands such as Co To Con, Thanh Lan island... looking like sparkling pearls on the water surface. The cool sea breeze blows past the ears, the golden sunlight covers everything with a layer of shimmering light. Being able to immerse yourself in the vast space, free like a bird in the blue sky is a feeling that is both overwhelming and peaceful.

All 6 paragliders were flying the Party flag and the Vietnamese national flag in the sky over Co To.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Linh, Head of the Department of Culture, Tourism, Science and Technology of Co To district said: “Paragliding in Co To brings a unique and impressive experience to tourists. From above, visitors can admire the panoramic view of the blue sea and sky, the fine white sand beaches and the wild beauty of the island. This is not only an attractive adventure sport but also a highlight in the tourism attraction program, contributing to creating a distinct mark for Co To on the map of Vietnam's sea tourism”.
