On September 30, the People's Committee of Chau Phu commune (An Giang province) coordinated with relevant units to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of 5 temporary classrooms at Tran Van Thanh High School.

The project has a total area of ^​​320m2 , with an implementation cost of about 1 billion VND, from the investment source of the Department of Education and Training of An Giang, helping the school meet the teaching and learning needs in the 2025-2026 school year.

Previously, a delegation from the Department of Education and Training of An Giang province came to survey the investment in building facilities at Tran Van Thanh High School. According to the plan, Tran Van Thanh High School will be newly built to meet national standards, with 45 classes, ensuring facilities for long-term teaching and learning...

Tran Van Thanh High School was built in 1999, currently has 29 classes, with 1,260 students, but only 15 main classrooms. The expected scale after merging with Binh Long Secondary and High School in 2030 is 45 classes, more than 2,000 students, so it is necessary to expand an additional 5,000m² of land to build a school that meets national standards.
