Exciting "Fastest crab catching" and "Legendary crab race" contests

Within the framework of the Ca Mau Crab Festival - The 2nd time in 2025, on the evening of November 16 and 17, the Ca Mau Provincial Youth Union organized the competitions: "Fastest crab catching" and "Legendary crab race" with the "main character" being "Ca Mau crab". The competitions attracted a large number of tourists and people to participate and cheer.

The teams enthusiastically participated in the "Fastest crab catching" competition.

For the "Fastest Crab Catching" competition, each team has 03 members (02 men, 01 woman). When the referee gives the order, the teams will catch crabs and put them in the basket within 07 minutes. The team that catches the most crabs will win.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 2 third prizes and 3 consolation prizes to the fastest crab catching teams.

For the "Legendary Crab Race" competition, each team will prepare 01 crab of their choice and release the crab into the race track arranged by the Organizing Committee. The competition time is 03 minutes. At the end of the specified time, the Organizing Committee will calculate the results based on which part of the crab crawls to that point. The qualifying round will select the 08 fastest crabs to enter the quarter-finals and finals to award 01 first prize, 01 second prize, 02 third prizes.

The "Legendary Crab Race" competition attracted a large number of participants.

The competitions attracted a large number of tourists and locals to participate, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere for the 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival, contributing to promoting the specialties, images, land and people of Ca Mau, friendly, gentle and hospitable.
