(gialai.gov.vn) – Within the framework of the visit and work at the Ia Puch Beef Cattle Project, at noon on November 18, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan attended a working session between Truong Hai Agriculture Joint Stock Company (THACO AGRI) with the Idaho State government (USA) and US businesses.

Attending the meeting, on behalf of Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company ( THACO ), there were Mr. Tran Ba ​​Duong - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group; Mr. Tran Ngoc Son - Deputy General Director of the Group, General Director of Truong Hai Agriculture Joint Stock Company.

On the US side, there were Mr. Scott Bedke - Lieutenant Governor of Idaho; representative of the Office of Agricultural Foreign Affairs of the US Department of Agriculture; the US Ambassador to Vietnam and a number of directors and managers of cattle farming enterprises in Idaho.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan expressed his joy at welcoming the delegation of the US Department of Agriculture, the Idaho State Government and representatives of the state's leading enterprises to visit and work in Gia Lai province.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee welcomed and strongly supported the cooperation of Idaho state enterprises in investment, technology transfer, technical support and human resource training for Gia Lai province, including coordination with THACO AGRI and agricultural enterprises in the area.

Gia Lai province commits to creating the most favorable conditions regarding investment procedures, land, infrastructure and business environment; accompanying investors throughout the process of project formation and implementation; ensuring security, safety and a stable production environment for businesses.

At the meeting, Mr. Scott Bedke - Lieutenant Governor of Idaho said that Idaho is one of the states with majestic natural landscapes, abundant water resources and is a major agricultural center of the United States. The state is especially famous for raising beef cattle, dairy cattle, food processing, agricultural nutrition and agricultural materials production.

Mr. Scott Bedke commented that the similarities in agricultural strengths between Gia Lai and Idaho State open up many opportunities for extensive, effective and sustainable cooperation. He expressed his honor to visit Gia Lai - a locality with great potential for agricultural development; at the same time, he believed that the province's livestock industry will have strong growth in the coming time. The Idaho State Government and businesses expect to soon cooperate with Gia Lai enterprises in the fields of livestock farming techniques, breeding and product consumption.

At the meeting, delegates from the United States were introduced to the potential, advantages and investment opportunities in Gia Lai province; at the same time, THACO AGRI leaders introduced the unit's agricultural production model, the Ia Púch Beef Farm Project and investment plans in the province. This activity created conditions for the parties to exchange information, learn and promote cooperation, thereby effectively exploiting the potential between the two localities in particular and the US - Vietnam business community in general.
