According to journalist Jose Luis Sanchez on the El Chiringuito program , Real Madrid's coaching staff secretly worked with Mbappe for over a month to improve his free-kick ability.

"Within Real Madrid, they wanted Mbappe to become a free-kick specialist. That's why the coaching staff spent over a month working with him on this skill, and the results were proven by the goal against Leganes," Sanchez shared.

To date, Mbappe has scored 33 goals for Real Madrid in his first season with the Spanish giants. Under the guidance of Carlo Ancelotti, he has been the main attacking force helping Real compete on all three major fronts: La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Champions League.

Adding free-kick ability to his arsenal makes Mbappe more complete, and gives Real Madrid another option to break the deadlock in tense matches.
