According to El Chiringuito , Real Madrid are considering letting Mbappe inherit the legendary number 10 shirt at the Bernabeu. Since 2017, Luka Modric has worn this shirt number. Previously, many famous players such as Mesut Ozil, Luis Figo, Clarence Seedorf and Michael Laudrup also had the honor of wearing this shirt number.
Mbappe is currently wearing the number 9 shirt, inherited from Karim Benzema. The former PSG star also loved the number 7 shirt at Bernabeu, which previously belonged to his idol Cristiano Ronaldo. However, this shirt number is currently used by Vinicius Junior.
Another contender for the number 10 shirt at the Bernabeu is Jude Bellingham. However, the midfielder is happy with the number 5 shirt, once worn by the legendary Zinedine Zidane.
