MC Tú Linh makes her debut to Liên Quân Mobile fans. |
On March 7th, MC Tú Linh made her first return to hosting sports programs since leaving K+. Instead of traditional sports, the female MC participated in Garena's Arena of Valor tournament. This is an eSports program with about 10 years of history in Vietnam, attracting a large audience from the game Arena of Valor.
Tú Linh appeared in the second week of the spring split with three notable matches: FPL vs. Box Gaming, Saigon Phantom vs. Team Secret, and the clash between One Star andFPT Flash.
Besides the overwhelming performance of newcomer GAM with 3 consecutive wins, the most surprising result so far is One Star's 3-0 demolition of defending champion FPT Flash. The landscape of the Vietnam Arena of Valor Championship is unpredictable, with SGP playing poorly and consistently losing with their new lineup. FPT Flash also started losing despite fans' expectations of a dominant season.
The opening performance by the female MC, formerly of K+, was well-received by Liên Quân Mobile fans. Tú Linh adapted quickly and led confidently. However, she frequently used familiar football terminology in her eSports presentations.
Besides Tú Linh, the other two female MCs accompanying Vietnamese Liên Quân Mobile fans are Phương Thảo and Như Bình. Commentator Hoàng Sơn from K+ also returns to the Arena of Valor tournament this year.
Besides her work in eSports, fans were also surprised to see Tu Linh appearing in videos on TikTok advising on and selling high-end real estate in Hanoi.
MC Tú Linh first appeared on K+ as a Manchester United fan. Later, she returned to host various pre-match commentary programs and the Premier League Club show. The female MC remained with the television station until its final days.
Previously, on her personal page, Tu Linh stated that her time working at K+ took her from being a football fan to becoming a familiar face on sports programs. She called K+ a kind, united, and genuine team, where she grew up, matured, and built her reputation. "It's not just a workplace, it's a family," she wrote.
In her post before the unit closed, the female MC also did not forget to thank the audience, those who followed K+ throughout its 16 years of formation and development. According to her, the trust and support of viewers is the motivation that helps her keep her passion for the profession alive and become a better version of herself.
