Mescells strives to contribute to the quality management of research and application of cell therapy.

In order to strengthen the quality management of research on cell application and cell products in Vietnam, the Department of Science, Technology and Training in collaboration with the Ministry of Health - Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health organized a Conference on Quality Assurance of Research on Cell Therapy and Cell Products in Vietnam.

The conference was chaired by Dr. Nguyen Tri Thuc - Deputy Minister of Health , with the participation of management agencies, professional associations, hospitals, research, training and production facilities, businesses...

Mescells Institute of Applied Cell Technology Research has made contributions to the quality management of research on cell therapy applications and cell products in Vietnam.

At the conference, representatives of Mescells and representatives of the Vietnam Association of Regenerative Medicine and Cell Therapy contributed to the discussion on cell standards for clinical trials, aiming to ensure the safety and effectiveness of research on cell applications and cell products.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Nam - Director of Mescells Institute of Applied Cell Technology Research - shared: "This is a necessary conference for all public and private units wishing to work on cell technology. Currently in Vietnam, there are a number of units that have made quite a thorough investment in cell technology with a system of LAB rooms, modern equipment participating in research and clinical trials.

The conference provides guidance on policies, testing methods, and cell quality assessment to help units specializing in cell technology.

Mescells Institute for Applied Cell Technology Research is one of the first private units in Vietnam licensed by the Ministry of Science and Technology to research technology and cell therapy in Regenerative Medicine. Mescells is a research institute that has transferred cell technology from Japan - the "cradle" of cell technology with valuable research achievements.

Many research projects have demonstrated the effectiveness of stem cell technology in treating diseases related to the respiratory tract, musculoskeletal system, nervous system, immune system, some types of cancer, etc.

Mescells has invested systematically, built a system of LAB rooms according to GMP-WHO standards, ensuring strict compliance with all criteria from the design of facilities, equipment, environment, human resources to the control of the processes of collecting, processing, culturing, storing and preserving cells. In addition, Mescells Tissue Bank is one of the first private tissue banks in Vietnam licensed by the Ministry of Health to operate, receive, preserve, store and transport adipose tissue and umbilical cord tissue.

With strengths in cell production, evaluation, and quality control; cell extraction, culture, and storage processes; and cell storage and proliferation potential, Mescells is aiming to become a leading unit in applied research, while providing standard cells for research and testing.

The conference "Ensuring the quality of research on cell therapy and cell-based products in Vietnam" attracted many experts to attend.

The conference noted that in recent years, science and technology activities and innovation in the health sector have developed remarkably in quantity and quality, achieving many achievements.

In particular, research and development of new products, techniques and methods in general and research on the application of cells and cell-based products have initially proposed new potential regimens, providing physicians with more options to apply to medical examination and treatment, serving the work of taking care of people's health.
