In 2024, Microsoft is committed to bringing more improvements and advanced features to Copilot to bring users the leading applications of AI. The company has revealed some notable features that it has started testing and will soon launch to users.
It plans to integrate GPT-4 Turbo into Copilot, allowing users to tackle more complex and long-form tasks with OpenAI’s latest model. In addition, Microsoft has harnessed the power of GPT-4 to launch Deep Search and Rich Search, which help deliver optimized results for complex topics as well as provide better image understanding for queries.
Users can now ask Copilot to generate higher quality and more accurate images thanks to the updated DALL-E 3 model. In-place text editing for Microsoft Edge users is also in the works, where users can simply select text from most web pages and ask Copilot to rewrite it.
Microsoft is also developing a Code Interpreter feature that will help users perform complex tasks such as calculations, encryption, data analysis, and more with more precision. Currently, Microsoft is collecting feedback from some test users and will launch this feature in the near future.
