According to TechRadar , Microsoft is testing a new feature that will allow the Microsoft Store to display and update apps from third-party developers.
Windows 11 is getting the Microsoft Store, an app center.
Previously, the Microsoft Store only supported updates for apps downloaded directly from Microsoft's servers, causing inconvenience for users who had to manually search for updates for other applications.
It will soon be possible to update apps from outside sources via the Microsoft Store.

With this change, users will find it easier to manage and update all installed apps from the Microsoft Store in a single place. When clicking 'Get Update', the list will include both Microsoft apps and third-party apps.
However, the automatic update feature will only apply to Microsoft applications. Users will still need to manually update third-party applications.
This move is expected to help the Microsoft Store become a true app hub on Windows 11. Supporting third-party app updates will save users time and encourage developers to upload their apps to the Microsoft Store, providing a more seamless and secure user experience.
The new feature is currently being tested in the Windows Insider program and is expected to be officially released to all Windows 11 users soon.
