According to TechRadar , Microsoft is testing a new feature that will allow the Microsoft Store to display and update apps from third-party developers.
Windows 11 is about to have an 'app center' Microsoft Store
Previously, the Microsoft Store only supported updates for apps downloaded directly from Microsoft servers, making it inconvenient for users to have to search for updates for other apps themselves.

With this change, users will be able to easily manage and update all installed apps from the Microsoft Store in one place. When clicking 'Get Update', the list will include both Microsoft and third-party apps.
However, the automatic update feature will only apply to Microsoft apps. Users will still need to manually update third-party apps.
This move is expected to help Microsoft Store become a true application center on Windows 11. Supporting third-party application updates will help users save time, while encouraging developers to bring their applications to the Microsoft Store, providing a more seamless and secure experience for users.
The new feature is currently being tested in the Windows Insider program and is expected to be officially released to all Windows 11 users soon.
