FORECAST OF STRONG WINDS, HIGH WAVES, AND THUNDERSTORMS AT SEA

In the northern South China Sea (including the waters around the Paracel Islands), winds of force 6-7, gusting to force 8-9, are blowing from the northeast. The sea is rough.

In the central South China Sea, winds will be at force 5, sometimes force 6, with gusts of force 7-8 from the northeast. The sea will be rough. In the southeastern sea area, winds will gradually strengthen from tonight.

The sea area from Ninh Thuan to Ca Mau , and the western part of the South China Sea (including the western sea area of the Spratly Islands) will experience winds of force 6, gusting to force 7-8 from the northeast. The sea will be rough. The northeastern part of the South China Sea will experience increasingly strong winds from tonight.

All vessels and other activities in these sea areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and high waves.

The specific weather conditions in these areas are as follows:

- Hanoi : Cloudy, no rain during the day, rain at night, scattered light rain. Northeast wind, 2-3 Beaufort scale. Cold weather, intensely cold in some areas.

Lowest temperature: 13-15 degrees.

Maximum temperature: 17-19 degrees.

- Northwestern region : Cloudy, with scattered rain in some areas, clearing up in the afternoon with sunshine in the far Northwest. Light winds. Cold weather, intensely cold in some places, and extremely cold in high mountainous areas.

Lowest temperature: 12-15 degrees, in some places below 9 degrees.

Maximum temperatures: 17-20 degrees Celsius, 24-27 degrees Celsius in the Northwest region, and over 28 degrees Celsius in some areas.

- Northeast region: Cloudy, with scattered rain in some areas, especially in the plains and coastal areas at night. Northeast wind at level 2-3. Cold weather, intensely cold in some places, very cold and frosty in mountainous areas.

Lowest temperatures: 12-15 degrees Celsius, 8-11 degrees Celsius in mountainous areas, and below 3 degrees Celsius in some high mountainous areas.

Maximum temperature: 16-19 degrees.

- Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue: Cloudy, with scattered rain in the north during the day and light rain at night; in the south, rain and showers during the day, with moderate to heavy rain in some areas, and scattered rain and showers at night. North to northwest winds at level 3. Cold weather.

Lowest temperatures: 15-18 degrees in the North; 18-20 degrees in the South.

Highest temperatures: 19-21 degrees in the North; 21-24 degrees in the South.

- Da Nang to Binh Thuan: Cloudy, with rain and showers during the day, locally moderate to heavy rain; scattered rain and showers at night, except for Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan where it will be sunny during the day and rain in some areas at night. Northeast wind at level 2-3, level 3-4 in coastal areas.

- Central Highlands: Cloudy, sunny during the day, scattered rain at night. Northeast wind, force 2-3.

Lowest temperature: 18-21 degrees.

Maximum temperature: 27-30 degrees.

- Southern Vietnam: Cloudy, sunny during the day, scattered rain at night. Northeast to east winds, force 2-3.

Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees Celsius, with some areas in the East experiencing temperatures below 23 degrees Celsius.

Maximum temperature: 31-34 degrees Celsius, with some areas in the East exceeding 34 degrees Celsius.
