Meanwhile, the Quang Tri, Phu Yen, and Khanh Hoa areas experienced moderate to heavy rain, with some areas receiving very heavy rain and thunderstorms, with rainfall amounts of 70-150mm, and some places exceeding 200mm. Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, and the eastern part of the Central Highlands received less rain, with amounts of 30-50mm, and some places exceeding 70mm.
Additionally, today, in the Southern region, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan will experience scattered showers and thunderstorms, with localized heavy rain with rainfall amounts of 10-20mm, and in some places over 70mm (thunderstorms will be concentrated in the late afternoon and evening).
The meteorological agency warns that from the night of November 26 to the morning of November 27, moderate to heavy rain, and locally very heavy rain, will continue in the area from Quang Tri to Khanh Hoa, with rainfall amounts ranging from 40-70mm, and in some places over 150mm. In the eastern part of the Central Highlands, rainfall will be 20-40mm, with some places over 70mm.
The impact of heavy rain requires precautions against the risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas, and flooding of rice paddies and other crops in low-lying areas; be prepared for heavy rainfall in a short period of time causing flooding in urban areas. Thunderstorms may bring tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.
Meanwhile, in Northern Vietnam, Thanh Hoa, and Nghe An , today will see scattered rain, with some areas experiencing fog in the early morning, followed by sunny weather in the afternoon. It will be cold in the morning and at night.
