Building on this foundation, the corporation plans to expand the deployment of this solution to its entire product development team of over 1,200 employees, aiming for 100% AI-assisted programming across the entire software production process.

From "programming assistant" to "programming staff"
According to a representative from MISA, AI Agents have created a fundamental shift in how software is developed. Previously, AI primarily played a supporting role in certain stages such as suggesting code and fixing bugs, while humans remained central to product development. However, with the application of AI programming tools like GitHub Copilot, MISA has elevated AI to a completely new role – automating the entire programming process .
Specifically, AI can be involved throughout the entire software development process: from outlining business requirements and automatically building detailed specification documents to writing code and testing to detect errors.
The breakthrough is that programmers no longer have to write every line of code directly. Instead, they only need to clearly describe the problem, business process, or desired feature, and AI will handle the rest to create the complete product.
This shift marks a major step forward: AI is no longer just a "programming assistant" but has become an "Agent"—a digital employee capable of autonomous programming activities.
Productivity and quality have seen breakthrough growth.
By adopting 100% Agentic Coding, MISA aims to increase productivity and product quality tenfold. Time-consuming processes such as business analysis, solution design, programming, automated testing, and system integration and deployment are now handled by AI personnel, minimizing errors and improving consistency.
At the same time, the role of software engineers has been elevated, shifting from "code writers" to "AI solution designers and coordinators," focusing on systems thinking and value creation.
Alongside the deployment of technology, MISA has updated its entire software development process to be AI-First and Agentic Coding oriented. AI is integrated into every stage of the product lifecycle. As a result, the time to market has been significantly shortened, from an average of 6 months to just 1-2 months.
This change helps MISA accelerate innovation, promptly meet customer requirements, and quickly solve urgent societal problems. This is clear evidence of the motto "customer-centric" – the guiding principle for all of MISA's research and development activities.
