The winner of the "Miss Universe Vietnam 2023" contest (not the Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 contest) will be determined on September 29 at the Hoa Binh Theater (HCMC). This will be the Vietnamese beauty chosen to participate in the Miss Universe beauty pageant (Miss Universe World 2023).

Because Vietnamese beauties compete internationally, the issue of foreign languages is of particular concern. This is almost a different direction compared to the current beauty pageants. Most of the current Vietnamese beauty pageants place great importance on the contestants being able to speak a foreign language fluently so that they can easily communicate with contestants from other countries and express their opinions smoothly.

However, for the "Miss Universe Vietnam 2023" contest, this can be done through an interpreter. Although somewhat passive, according to the organizers, this probably does not affect the contestants' achievements or performances much.

According to the organizers, "A candidate who is good at a foreign language will not get extra points and a candidate who is bad at a foreign language will not get points deducted. Therefore, it is unnecessary to pay attention to a candidate's foreign language. The most important thing is still the candidate's thinking and knowledge when presenting on a certain issue."

Among the 18 contestants selected for the final round of the competition, it is not difficult for the audience to predict the outstanding contestants who will go deep in the race to find the crown. Among these 18 contestants, there are quite a few familiar faces who have a lot of experience competing. That more or less affects the emotions of the audience.

In addition to the "Miss Universe 2023" competition spot for the new Miss, the Organizing Committee also has 2 prizes, which are tickets to participate in international beauty contests in 2024 for the remaining 4 girls in the top 5. Thus, the top 6 of "Miss Universe Vietnam 2023" will have the opportunity to attend 4 prestigious and major beauty contests in the world .

This is unprecedented in previous Vietnamese beauty contests, because most of the time, the places to participate in international beauty contests are awarded from Miss to Runner-up. "This is a way to encourage and motivate the contestants as well as the girls in the top 5 to have more activities to contribute to the community and society" - the Organizing Committee said.
