According to Mr. Dang Tran Huan, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, on June 5th, a proposal was submitted to the Provincial People's Committee requesting permission to increase the capacity of the soil mine in Dien Loc village, Dong Son commune. Accordingly, the mine's extraction capacity will be increased from 150,000 m3/year to 400,000 m3/year by 2026.
The entire volume of soil has been allocated to the Hoang Sa - Doc Soi Road project for embankment construction, aiming to accelerate the construction progress and disbursement as directed by the province. On the first day of reopening, many vehicles belonging to the contractor of the Hoang Sa - Doc Soi Road project entered the quarry to transport soil to the construction site for embankment and compaction of the roadbed.
The Tan Xuan earth mine in Dien Loc village, Dong Son commune, is owned by Tan Xuan Trading and Construction Joint Stock Company. In 2026, the company was permitted to mine at a capacity of 150,000 m3. However, due to the high demand for earth fill for the Hoang Sa - Doc Soi Road project, the mine reached its full capacity for the entire year by the end of May 2026. The timely approval to increase the capacity of the Dien Loc village mine has ensured a sufficient supply of earth fill for construction, accelerating the disbursement of funds.
