The Vietnam Innovation Challenge (VIC) is a program that realizes the vision of the Vietnam Innovation Initiative (InnovateVN), chaired by the Ministry of Planning and Investment , and organized by the National Innovation Center (NIC) in collaboration with Meta Group. The program aims to seek innovative solutions from organizations or individuals worldwide to address critical national challenges, towards a prosperous and sustainable Vietnam.

At the event, Mr. Vu Anh Tu, Chief Technology Officer of FPT Group, affirmed: "Innovation is the DNA of FPT. The founders of FPT recognized that only innovation and science and technology can help the group develop and contribute to the prosperity of the nation."

Therefore, over the past 35 years, FPT has been a pioneer in many fields: pioneering the integration of technological solutions into daily life in Vietnam; exporting software to expand intellectual horizons and put Vietnam on the world's digital map; pioneering the development of a practical, hands-on education model... to serve and prosper the nation.

To foster innovation, FPT Group continuously builds a platform to encourage internal startups. There are over 4,500 technology initiatives, helping FPT save hundreds of billions of VND and increase labor productivity by 30% annually.

Furthermore, the products participating in the Vietnam Innovation Solutions Award 2023 from FPT were all developed through the corporation's own startup program. These products have helped not only FPT but also global businesses achieve breakthroughs in labor productivity, optimize operations, deliver excellent customer experiences, and introduce new business directions.

In 2021, FPT partnered with Base.vn, a start-up providing a management platform for SMEs. The group maintains the FPT Venture fund and FPT Accelerator to contribute to building a technology ecosystem for Vietnam. Currently, more than 100 start-ups have registered to participate in FPT's technology infrastructure support program, with each project valued at billions of VND.

In recent years, FPT has collaborated with universities and research institutions worldwide to train high-quality human resources and promote innovation, including leading artificial intelligence research institutes such as Mila (Canada), the University of Warwick (UK), and the pioneering AI company Landing AI (USA). Each month, FPT provides AI APIs to 30,000 Vietnamese programmers to build and develop AI solutions.

Programs and products Made by FPT for the startup community.

To support the acceleration of the startup community, FPT Group's member companies have designed suitable programs and provided solutions and products for startups.

FPT Smart Cloud supports young businesses in building and deploying applications and products on a robust infrastructure, maximizing the advantages of AI & Cloud technology along with the readily available resources and global network of a large corporation like FPT. Businesses have the opportunity to use a VND 20 million voucher to deploy applications and products on the FPT Cloud computing platform.

FPT Information System supports businesses with a 30-day package offering unlimited use of UBot accounting automation solutions; a package of 200 FPT.eContract electronic contracts with verified blue checkmark from the Ministry of Industry and Trade; 500 FPT.eInvoice electronic invoices (including licensing fees); 500 FPT.eSign digital signatures; and 200 timestamped digital signatures (TSA).

akaBot - FPT has been honored with the award for Best Innovative Solution.

Also within the framework of the program, the akaBot Business Process Automation solution from FPT Group was among the Top 4 most outstanding innovative solutions, winning the "Innovation Star" award. AkaBot is a comprehensive Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solution for businesses developed by FPT Group, featuring "robotic assistants" capable of simulating human actions, helping to perform repetitive tasks in large quantities.

Currently, akaBot serves over 3,500 businesses in 21 countries with more than 10,000 deployed virtual robots. akaBot's virtual assistant has freed over 11 million employees across all its clients from tedious tasks; reducing processing time by 70%, saving up to 21.9 million working hours per year. In addition, akaBot has also contributed to a 60% reduction in paper usage.
