MU sets a high price for Garnacho.

Manchester United are looking to balance their finances and optimize their books by selling some key players, including Alejandro Garnacho.

MU are demanding a price of £70 million for Garnacho.

According to The Athletic , Manchester United have announced that any club wishing to sign Garnacho will have to pay at least £70 million. This figure is considered excessively high compared to Garnacho's actual market value.

"There's no reason for any club to consider spending such a large sum of money to acquire Garnacho at this time. The young player lacks experience, his performances are inconsistent, and he has some attitude issues," Yahoo Sports commented.

Notably, Chelsea are interested in Garnacho. Chelsea are looking for a new left winger in the 2025 summer transfer window. They were considering including Christopher Nkunku in the deal, but negotiations have not progressed.

Garnacho's past season was not very impressive, scoring only 6 goals in the Premier League. Coach Ruben Amorim asked the player to find a new club. Besides being unhappy about not being a starter in the Europa League final, Garnacho also had several tactical disagreements with Coach Amorim.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Garnacho is definitely leaving Manchester United. "Once considered a gem at MU, the door at Old Trafford has closed for Garnacho," The Athletic asserted.

Conversely, MU successfully signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves for £62.5 million and continued to pursue Bryan Mbeumo of Brentford. The team is also looking for an additional midfielder, a striker, and possibly a goalkeeper to replace Andre Onana.
