Late on January 27th, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) issued a statement regarding the operational status of the "Vietnam Football Federation - VFF" Fanpage on the Facebook platform.

The Facebook page of the "Vietnam Football Federation - VFF" is currently inaccessible.

According to information from the VFF, the incident occurred on the afternoon of the same day (January 27, 2026). The initial cause, as announced by the platform developer, stemmed from some difficulties in verifying and cross-checking digital content copyright, arising from Facebook's automated censorship mechanism. This resulted in temporary access restrictions to the official VFF Fanpage.

Immediately after the incident was reported, the VFF Fanpage management team quickly took action, proactively coordinating and working directly with Meta (Facebook's parent company) to review all related content. At the same time, the VFF completed the submission of necessary documents to prove the legality and copyright ownership of the content posted on the Fanpage.

The VFF also requested Meta to review the warning issued by the automated system, emphasizing the possibility of errors during the moderation process. The VFF stated that it is actively cooperating to complete the necessary procedures as soon as possible, with the goal of fully restoring the Fanpage's functionality.

While awaiting processing, the VFF recommends that fans continue to follow and update official information through the Federation's website at vff.org.vn, as well as other official social media channels that are operating normally.

The Vietnam Football Federation affirmed that it will provide updates as soon as the Fanpage is restored, and also expressed its gratitude to fans for their support and companionship throughout this period.
