Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) President Tran Quoc Tuan, on behalf of the VFF Executive Committee, sent a congratulatory letter to Hanoi Police FC after the team secured the V-League 2025-2026 championship title early.
The letter from the head of the VFF affirmed that the V-League championship was a well-deserved reward for the systematic investment, team spirit, and persistent efforts of the police force's football team throughout the season.
"This achievement is a well-deserved result of the efforts, team spirit, and systematic development strategy that the club has consistently pursued over the past period," Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan emphasized.

The championship title demonstrates the significant maturity of Hanoi Police FC in its journey to establish its position in Vietnamese football. Possessing a quality squad with many national team players, the team also showed stability and composure in the decisive stages.
The V-League 2025-2026 championship also bears the strong imprint of coach Mano Polking, who helped Hanoi Police maintain consistent performance and surge ahead in the decisive stages.
Domestic titles also serve as a springboard for the Hanoi Police football team to aim for bigger goals in international competitions.
With their V-League 2025-2026 championship title, Hanoi Police officially earned the right to represent Vietnamese football in the AFC Champions League Elite and Shopee Cup in the 2026-2027 season.
This is the first time the police force's football team has participated in Asia's highest-level club competition as the national champion. The honor is immense, but the challenge is also formidable, as the Hanoi Police Club will have to face many top representatives from Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, and other developed football nations in the continent.
Besides the AFC Champions League Elite, the Shopee Cup is also an important arena for the police force's football team to test their capabilities within Southeast Asia. Performances here will help demonstrate the true standing of the Vietnamese champions when they compete on the regional stage.
VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan expressed his confidence in the police team's ability to compete: "Once again, on behalf of the VFF Executive Committee, I would like to congratulate the club on its impressive achievements in the past period. I wish you continued success and that you bring glory to Vietnamese football."
Hanoi Police FC officially clinched the championship after defeating Thanh Hoa FC 2-0 in Round 23 of the V-League 2025-2026 on May 17th. This result helped coach Mano Polking's team increase their total points to 60, 11 points ahead of second-placed The Cong Viettel , with only 3 rounds remaining in the season, making it impossible for their rivals to close the gap.
