According to AppleInsider , new forecasts from the supply chain reveal that Apple's first foldable iPhone could arrive at a price that will shock many, equivalent to the company's highest-end laptop line.

Specifically, based on analyses focusing on core component costs, the price of a foldable iPhone could fall between $2,000 and $2,500 . The most frequently mentioned figure is $2,399 , placing the device in the same segment as the 16-inch MacBook Pro.

This price point is not simply a brand positioning strategy, but also reflects the very high engineering costs involved in meeting Apple's stringent standards.

Among these components, the foldable screen remains one of the most expensive.
