The Lunar New Year is considered the "golden season" for this service. Each trip costs between 100,000 and 200,000 VND, depending on the distance and the size of the pot. They make 6-7 trips a day transporting flowers. After deducting fuel costs, the income is 500,000-600,000 VND; on peak days, it can reach 1 million VND. That amount is enough to buy extra things for the family in the days leading up to Tet.
