The 86-year-old artist is getting married for the fourth time.

Pham Tang, a master of Chinese painting, married for the fourth time to a woman 50 years younger than him.

On his personal page on April 10th, the 86-year-old artist announced that he had completed his marriage registration with a woman named Tu Manh. Pham Tang wrote that after his previous wife, Truong Que Van, passed away in 2021, he suffered a mild stroke and was unable to continue composing. Tu Manh lovingly cared for Pham Tang, helping him recover both physically and mentally.

Tu Manh also encouraged Pham Tang to return to painting and calligraphy, and to continue promoting traditional art. The artist said that the two have kindred spirits and decided to commit to each other for life.

According to Hongxing News , Fan Zeng's wife is 36 years old this year. Audiences speculated and discussed Xu Meng, but the couple did not respond further.

Fan Zeng is a major figure in contemporary Chinese art, known as a "master" in the fields of calligraphy and painting. He has held positions such as vice president of the China Fine Arts Association and vice president of the China Calligraphers Association.

His works have been exhibited in museums abroad, such as in Japan and the United Kingdom. Many of his paintings have fetched high prices at auction. Among them, " Bamboo Ruler" sold for over 40 million yuan (US$5.1 million), and "Spiritual Spring Daoist" sold for 18.4 million yuan (US$2.5 million). Dozens of his other paintings have also sold for over one million US dollars.

Pham Tang went through three marriages; his first wife was a poet, and his second was a painter. In the 1990s, Pham Tang faced financial difficulties and received help from his friend, Tu Ton Duc. However, the painter later fell in love with Truong Que Van, Tu Ton Duc's wife. Therefore, Truong Que Van and Tu Ton Duc divorced. Pham Tang also divorced his second wife to be with Que Van. She passed away in 2021.
