The exhibition includes many images of the reunification day. Photographer Minh Loc was present at the rally, parade, and march celebrating the victory at the Independence Palace (now the Reunification Hall) on May 15, 1975 with more than 55,000 people attending.
He took a series of photos capturing images of Party and State leaders, artists and people celebrating the country's reunification.
The typical photo is the moment when Southern artists attended the ceremony, preserved by artist Kim Cuong. Mr. Doan Hoai Trung - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association - said that this photo collection was used in the photo book Ho Chi Minh City - 50 years of proud heroic epic.
