According to Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong, the exhibition, which runs until September 20th, is a special art event aimed at building a "national brand" for Vietnamese photography; promoting beautiful images of Vietnam and its people; strengthening international exchange and cooperation through photography; compiling and enriching the photo collection of Hue, serving to promote Hue's culture and tourism, and enriching the activities of the National Tourism Year in Hue in 2025.
Awards were presented to the authors whose works were outstanding at the exhibition. |
The organizers received 6,076 entries from 415 authors from 16 countries around the world for the exhibition. The Art Council, established by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, selected 200 photographs by 133 authors from Vietnam and abroad for display. The works are presented under two themes: “Vietnam through the lens of international photography” and “Hue – Ancient capital, new opportunities”.
These are beautiful images of Vietnam's land and people, offering a profound understanding of life, culture, nature, and the country; thereby contributing to the promotion, dissemination, introduction, and development of Vietnamese tourism and Hue City - the host city of the National Tourism Year - to domestic and international friends.
