Kindness and affection at the beginning of spring.

In the vibrant atmosphere of the new spring, the timely and appropriate distribution of "Trade Union Shelters" has been kindling hope and bringing warmth and compassion to many union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Not only do these new homes help union members realize their dream of owning a home, but they also bring joy and togetherness, so that Tet (Lunar New Year) is not just a time of seasonal change, but truly a season of hope, happiness, and love.

Kindness and affection at the beginning of spring.

Leaders of the Provincial Labor Union and the Trade Union of Rollsport Vietnam Co., Ltd. visited and encouraged workers facing difficult circumstances.

This Lunar New Year brings more joy than ever to the family of Ms. Luu Thi Thuy, a union member of Aleron Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd. The dream of a sturdy home to settle down and build a stable life, once seemed far-fetched, but has now become a reality. Ms. Thuy's husband suffers from mental illness and lacks stable employment; her mother-in-law is elderly and frail; and her two children are still in school. The family's livelihood depends on Ms. Thuy's meager worker's salary, so building a new house was something she had never even considered. The timely support from the Thanh Hoa Trade Union's Fund for Supporting Union Members, Workers, and Employees, with a donation of 45 million VND, along with the contributions of colleagues and relatives, has helped her family acquire a new, solid, and warm home.

Ms. Thuy said this was a great motivation for her family to improve their lives and achieve stability.

The Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026 marks the first time that the family of Ms. Dinh Thi Hien, a union member of Rollsport Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd., will celebrate Tet (Lunar New Year) in their new, warm and loving home. For many years prior, her family lived in a dilapidated, rickety house that posed a significant safety risk during storms.

Ms. Hien's husband passed away due to a serious illness, leaving her to raise three young children alone. She herself is frequently ill, and her income depends solely on her factory worker's salary, leaving her constantly struggling to make ends meet. Understanding and empathizing with her situation, the trade union provided her family with 45 million VND from the Thanh Hoa Trade Union's Fund for Supporting Union Members and Workers. With the help of relatives, friends, and colleagues, she was able to build a new, spacious, and sturdy house. "The trade union's support is an incredibly meaningful gift to our family. From now on, my children have a place to shelter from the sun and rain, and I can work with peace of mind to increase my income," Ms. Hien shared.

With the motto "Wherever union members and workers face difficulties, there is the trade union organization," in recent years, trade unions at all levels in the province have always focused on promoting activities to care for the material and spiritual lives of union members. Among these, the "Trade Union Shelter" housing program has become a bright spot with profound humanitarian significance and widespread impact throughout the province. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor has directed trade unions at all levels to regularly survey and understand the living conditions, employment, income, and housing needs of union members and workers; thereby organizing assessments and providing support for housing construction and repair to the right beneficiaries in a transparent and open manner. At the same time, they actively promote and encourage cadres, union members, and workers to contribute to the Thanh Hoa Trade Union's Fund for Supporting Union Members and Workers.

With a spirit of "mutual support and solidarity," a large number of officials and workers in the province responded and contributed to building the fund. Along with support from the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Union's Fund for Supporting Union Members and Workers, local Party committees, authorities, businesses, agencies, units, and relatives have provided additional financial support, labor, and construction materials, helping many union member families stabilize their lives. From 2023 to 2025, the Provincial Labor Federation has supported the construction and repair of 345 "Union-sponsored Homes" with a total budget of 14.716 billion VND.

For families reunited with workers living in these compassionate "Trade Union Shelters," Tet (Lunar New Year) is not only a moment of reunion but also the beginning of faith and motivation to overcome difficulties and strive towards a better future. Through the sharing and support of the trade union and the community, these warm homes are contributing to a truly meaningful spring season.
