In Dau Tieng district ( Binh Duong province), there are women and mothers who always wish for a greener and cleaner living environment.
They also dream of helping and sharing with the community, even if it's just a little. This includes sharing the dreams of a struggling female member who needs a little capital to start a small business to earn extra income, or supporting tuition fees so that poor children can continue their education...

Women members in An Lap commune, Dau Tieng district, share a similar dream of a green future, and the "Green House" model, where scrap materials are collected to raise funds for disadvantaged women and children, has been established. Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Duyen, President of the An Lap Commune Women's Union, said that the "Green House" model has been implemented by the union since 2023 and is currently present in five hamlets: Kien An, Ho Can, Bau Khai, Phu Binh, and Chot Dong. More than 300 women members have participated in this model. They collect scrap materials and put the money into a piggy bank. The collected funds are used to support disadvantaged members, buy Tet gifts for poor households, etc.
The unique aspect of this model is the combination of environmental protection with social welfare activities. In addition to raising awareness of waste sorting and environmental protection, members and households have effectively demonstrated the spirit of mutual support and compassion within the community. "Green House" and "Exchange Waste for Gifts" are practical, effective, and innovative models implemented by the An Lap Commune Women's Union in recent times.
The living environment before and after implementing the model has changed significantly. Many people who benefited from this model are more enthusiastic and have more faith in the association. And from that, people's awareness of waste sorting to protect the environment has been raised, making it greener and cleaner.
