PSG fans: 'Mbappe is the problem'

According to Mundo Deportivo , Mbappe has received numerous sarcastic messages on social media. One post read: "Thank you for leaving PSG, we will always be grateful to you." Another fan commented: "PSG is in the final, Mbappe must be heartbroken. He left PSG to win the Champions League, but PSG reached the final without him."

One fan wrote: "Thank you for leaving the club. Mbappe was the problem. I'm really glad you're gone. We're much stronger without you."

However, not everyone criticized Mbappe. Many Real Madrid fans defended him against the wave of criticism from PSG supporters. In a post targeting Mbappe by a PSG fan, one Real Madrid supporter commented: "What are PSG fans thinking? What did Kylian do to deserve this treatment? He gave his best."

On May 8th, a quote from Luis Enrique in last year's documentary went viral on social media. In it, the PSG coach compared the team's defensive system with and without Mbappe.

Enrique said: "I think the whole team will improve on that. Having a player like Mbappe, who often moves freely within the system, meant I couldn't control the flow of the game. Next season, I will control everything, without exception."

Since PSG reached the Champions League final, Mbappe hasn't posted anything new. He's been focusing on preparing for the El Clásico match against Barcelona in La Liga on May 11th.

Mbappe's brace helps Real win. On the evening of April 5th, Kylian Mbappe shone with a brace to help Real Madrid win 3-2 against Celta Vigo in the 34th round of La Liga.
