Having been with the company for nearly a decade, Mr. Hoang is not only a highly competent administrative officer but also someone deeply involved in the lives of the workers. His role as Chairman of the grassroots trade union is more than just a title; it's a steadfast commitment, a job with no end-of-shifts. From thoroughly understanding legal regulations regarding workers' rights and closely monitoring collective bargaining agreements to overseeing contract implementation, Mr. Hoang consistently acts as a "bridge" between workers and management, protecting workers' rights with understanding, impartiality, and responsibility.
Under Mr. Hoang's leadership, the company's labor union has truly become a solid support for over 1,700 workers. It's no coincidence that there have been no strikes or serious labor conflicts here over the years. This is the result of listening, dialogue, and timely action – something that Mr. Hoang and the union's executive committee always prioritize.
For example, in 2024, the Trade Union Executive Committee and the company's leadership successfully organized a year-end summary event with the participation of nearly 1,750 workers, raising over 850 million VND in sponsorships. Every gift, every performance, every laugh at the event was the result of meticulous preparation, dedication, and a strong connection between the trade union, the company, and the workers.
Not content with just participating in the movement, he also led workers to actively participate in competitions and sports tournaments such as football, badminton, and volleyball at the provincial level to improve their health, strengthen camaraderie, and build a strong trade union culture. Caring for workers is not just a slogan for Mr. Dam Thai Hoang. He directly works with the trade union to allocate funds to visit sick members and families facing difficult circumstances.

Even in unexpected situations like the damage caused by Typhoon No. 3 in 2024, Mr. Hoang did not stand idly by. He and the Trade Union Executive Committee quickly coordinated with the company's leadership to go to the affected areas to encourage and support over 500 union members. In addition, he participated in voluntary blood donation and encouraged workers to participate in social programs such as "The Red Drop for Workers and Employees," so that the trade union is not only a home, but also a bridge connecting hearts that know how to love and share.
Regarding the movement for excellent and innovative labor, Mr. Dam Thai Hoang also has outstanding achievements. In 2024, he had two exemplary technical initiatives aimed at improving the central air conditioning and factory cooling system, bringing in over 925 million VND/year in benefits for the enterprise. These improvements not only helped save energy but also contributed to improving the working environment for workers, ensuring the stringent technical requirements of production in a cleanroom environment.
Through his tireless efforts, Mr. Dam Thai Hoang has been honored numerous times with awards such as: Certificates of Merit from the Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Union in 2020, 2022, and 2023; Certificates of Merit from the Trade Union of Industrial Zones in the province; and the title of Outstanding Grassroots Trade Union Chairman in 2024. Notably, in 2024, Mr. Dam Thai Hoang received a Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for his outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement.
But the greatest reward for Mr. Hoang is not the certificates of merit, but the trusting gaze of his fellow workers every time they come to him. This is a silent but enduring recognition, the foundation for him to continue being a keeper of the flame in the journey of building a strong trade union and spreading the spirit of "serving the workers." The dedication, innovation, and creativity of a trade union official like him not only spreads a spirit of solidarity within the company but also contributes significantly to building an increasingly strong trade union organization, affirming its role as a partner for workers in the new era. Mr. Dam Thai Hoang is a vivid example of a modern-day trade union official – not only possessing a firm grasp of policies and professional skills, but also knowing how to inspire creativity, ignite a spirit of solidarity, and connect people with a sincere heart.
