As an investigator of Cu Kuin District Police, but since the district-level police were no longer organized, Lieutenant Colonel Ha Trong Son (born in 1984) took on a new task as Deputy Chief of Ea Tieu Commune Police (Cu Kuin District). Without operating district-level police, the commune police took on many new tasks. Therefore, promoting responsibility, self-awareness, and initiative in the work of each officer and soldier is a key factor.
Clearly identifying that, Lieutenant Colonel Son and his teammates quickly joined hands, focusing highly on the fight against crime, doing a good job of monitoring and supervising the entire area, being ready to resolve incidents arising from the grassroots, setting the highest goal of maintaining security and order, building and developing the locality.
Lieutenant Colonel Ha Trong Son, Deputy Chief of Ea Tieu Commune Police, Cu Kuin District, talked with people about raising vigilance and protecting property on the fields. |
Lieutenant Colonel Son shared: “The responsibility of the commune police not only increases in workload but also requires quick adaptation and the ability to solve many arising problems. We have to be closer to the people, understand the characteristics of each locality and residential group to have appropriate approaches and work methods and build trusting relationships with the people.”
After nearly 3 months of implementation, with a high sense of responsibility, all activities of Ea Tieu Commune Police are being implemented synchronously, ensuring smoothness and efficiency, which have been recognized and highly appreciated by the people.
Similarly, the policy of transferring the task of issuing criminal records from the Department of Justice to the police agency is an important "step", placing new responsibilities and a clear test of the ability to adapt to the increasingly diverse roles of each police officer and soldier.
Captain Le Thi To Quyen (born in 1982), who has been proficient in her work at the General Staff Team (Buon Ma Thuot City Police), was transferred to the Professional Records Department (Provincial Police) in March 2025. Taking on the task of issuing criminal records at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center, the job requires her to have a process of verifying information from multiple sources, with absolute accuracy, while ensuring the safety and confidentiality of personal data according to regulations. "Taking on a new assignment is like turning a new page in life," Captain Quyen shared.

Facing new challenges, she tried her best to learn and understand how to handle the job, and with the support of her colleagues, she learned new skills, expanded her knowledge and gradually gained experience. Overcoming initial obstacles, she has now fulfilled her new tasks. Captain Quyen acknowledged that the new responsibility and role are also opportunities for her to "upgrade" herself to serve better. Because working here, in direct contact with the people, requires not only mastering the profession but also constantly improving communication skills and service attitude to create convenience and satisfaction for the people.
It can be said that change is an opportunity to awaken the dedication and creativity in each person. There are tasks that you previously did not think you could do, but working anywhere is dedication. Responding to the times, the only choice is to dare to face and be ready to adapt, trying to walk firmly on the chosen path, anything can be done.
