Network operators have ready their networks for the 2024 Lunar New Year holiday. Talking to VietNamNet, a Viettel representative said that to ensure service quality before, during and after Tet, from 1 month before, the Corporation Viettel Network Company (VTNet) has put all its efforts into proactively planning, sizing, and implementing solutions.

Up to now, Viettel has completed deploying 15.000 solutions to supplement resources, ready to meet 120% of expected traffic. Prominent among them are 700 new stations, 1.000 small stations, 100 mobile vehicles and more than 13.000 high-configuration upgrade solutions for BTS stations.

In particular, for the first time, Viettel has applied AI in optimizing network quality. The XO application, developed by VTNet engineers, has the ability to automatically optimize coverage, automatically provide warnings, solutions and take actions to ensure the best coverage. This solution is especially useful during the Lunar New Year when it helps to promptly fine-tune coverage when subscribers move across the entire network, something that cannot be done with human power.

"Through actual recording at locations where XO is applied, coverage area at each station improved by 10%, speed improved by 5% and KPIs improved by 10% compared to before.”, Viettel representative said.

In addition, nearly 100 5G stations have been deployed by Viettel at festivals and events to ensure the best experience for customers.

To ensure communication security during the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin, from January 1, VNPT has reviewed the entire communication system, built a plan to be ready to expand and increase capacity for the systems. system.

This network also broadcasts more than 100 5G stations in 10 provinces/cities, focusing mainly in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, in densely populated areas to increase people's experience during Tet. .

VNPT has developed a plan to ensure information security, arranging more than 1.500 human resources and vehicles, ready to deploy unexpected information requests during the holidays.

VNPT also focuses on investing in increasing capacity by 20% in the international Internet network, with many land cable directions to ensure redundancy in case of sea cable breakage. Backbone network capacity increased by 32%, meeting traffic flow for fixed broadband Internet and mobile Internet.

VNPT has now coordinated with partners to increase service quality and customer experience. Average connection capacity increased from 10% - 40% to ensure service quality.

According to information from MobiFone, to prepare for the 2024 Lunar New Year peak, devices on the MobiFone network have been checked, ensuring high redundancy configuration to avoid network problems. Network capacity and domestic and international transmission routes are now ready for customer demand to increase compared to normal days.

MobiFone has made detailed plans, assigned operating schedules, information rescue, on-duty duty, ensuring timely reception and handling of incidents, contacting and synthesizing personnel of partners on duty to support.

This network also assigns experienced technical staff to monitor the transmission backbone and at switchboards, ready to connect to serve the remote support of partners. In addition, during the Tet holidays, MobiFone will arrange full staff to handle and support customers.

Talking to VietNamNet, Vietnamobile said it has reviewed and rechecked the entire network, detected and promptly resolved risks that could cause service interruptions before the holiday.

This unit will freeze the network (maintain status quo) during the holiday period, disallowing network impacts to minimize the risk of service disruption (except in cases where impacts are required to respond rescue information services in emergency situations).

At the same time, Vietnamobile has also reviewed and strengthened backup power systems (explosion generators) to respond to information in case of grid power failure.

100% of users want the network to deploy 5G soon to experience the new technologyMr. Nguyen Van Son, Director of Mobile Center - Viettel Telecom said that after experiencing 5G, 100% of users shared the desire for Vietnam to soon deploy 5G so they can experience new technology at high speed. than.
