Right from the first quarter, Coach Todd Purves's team quickly established a lead thanks to their control of the paint and the outstanding performance of Chris Bryant and the two Mongolian foreign players, leading 26-17.

Chris Bryant made a powerful attack on the paint area.
Cantho Catfish made personnel changes, with Corey Raley-Ross returning to the starting lineup and taking on a more orchestrating role. The home team narrowed the gap to 36-43 after the second quarter thanks to the improved performance of Aula Maarufu Sumbry.
However, after the break, Nha Trang Dolphins quickly regained control of the game. Azzaya Batkhuyag and his substitutes played effectively, helping the visiting team extend their lead to 69-56 before the final quarter.
In the fourth quarter, Chris Bryant completely dominated the paint with a series of offensive rebounds, leaving Cantho Catfish with no chance of turning the tide and ultimately leading to a 69-84 defeat.

Cantho Catfish's center Aula Maarufu Sumbry played much better in the second quarter.
Bryant was named Player of the Match (POTG) with 21 points and 17 rebounds, including 10 offensive rebounds. The 2.03m tall center shared that the victory would motivate the Nha Trang Dolphins to aim for the championship title.
Despite Corey Raley-Ross's 6 assists and shared playmaking responsibilities with Huynh Thanh Tam, Cantho Catfish were unable to neutralize Bryant's power. After the game, Nha Trang Dolphins (4 wins, 4 losses) remained in 4th place, while Cantho Catfish (2 wins, 6 losses) ranked 5th.
