The Missosology website has published a ranking of countries on the world beauty map after 2023. This ranking is based on the achievements of the contestants in five beauty pageants: Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Earth, and Miss Supranational.
Leading the ranking is the United States with 22,416 points, followed by Venezuela with 20,491 points, the Philippines with 15,464 points, Brazil with 4,789 points, and Colombia with 14,742 points.
Phuong Nhi, Do Thi Lan Anh, and Dang Thanh Ngan helped elevate the status of Vietnamese beauty.
Vietnam is ranked 49th with achievements from beauties Nguyen Phuong Nhi (top 15 Miss International) , Do Thi Lan Anh (2nd runner-up Miss Earth ) and Dang Thanh Ngan (4th runner-up Miss Supranational 2023).
Previously, in 2022, Vietnam ranked 51st. From 2019 to 2021, Vietnam maintained its position at 52nd. Thus, after 2023 with the impressive achievements of the beauty queens, Vietnamese beauty has moved up 2 places.
Many viewers wonder why Le Hoang Phuong, who won 4th runner-up at Miss Grand International 2023 , is not listed among the Vietnamese beauties who helped elevate Vietnamese beauty standards.
This is because the Missosology website and Mr. Nawat, the president of the Miss Grand International competition, have had a long-standing conflict, which is why the competition is not included in the ranking.
Nevertheless, Le Hoang Phuong's achievement also helped Vietnam climb the rankings in many other categories. Specifically, she contributed to Vietnam ranking 7th in the Country of the Year 2023 ranking, as selected by the beauty website All for the Crowns .
Furthermore, Le Hoang Phuong's achievement of finishing as 4th runner-up at Miss Grand International 2023 also contributed to Vietnam ranking 9th in Globalbeauties' Country of the Year 2023 list .
