Many workers of Toyoda GoSei Company were hospitalized due to suspected food poisoning.

(Dan Tri) - After lunch, many workers of Toyoda GoSei Hai Phong Co., Ltd. - Thai Binh Branch, showed symptoms such as stomachache, nausea and diarrhea, suspected of food poisoning.

On the morning of August 8, a leader of the Food Safety and Hygiene Department of Hung Yen province said that after receiving information that a worker of Toyoda Gosei Hai Phong Co., Ltd. - Thai Binh Branch (located in Tien Hai Industrial Park) showed unusual health symptoms after lunch, the unit sent officers down to verify the details.

The health of the company's workers is now stable. Many have been discharged from the hospital.

Previously, at noon on August 7, 27 workers of Toyoda Gosei Hai Phong Co., Ltd. - Thai Binh Branch, showed symptoms such as abdominal pain, vomiting and diarrhea after lunch at the company's cafeteria. These workers were taken to Tien Hai General Hospital (Ai Quoc Commune, Hung Yen Province) for initial examination and treatment.

All cases had similar symptoms such as stomachache, nausea and diarrhea. Through quick investigation, the workers confirmed that they had lunch at the company cafeteria, which included chicken, fish, pork, cucumber soup and rice.

About 1 hour after eating, all the workers showed abnormal symptoms as mentioned.
