Accordingly, on October 3, Kindergarten 3 (Phuoc Hau Ward, Vinh Long - formerly Ward 3, Vinh Long City, Vinh Long) organized a Mid-Autumn Festival party for the children studying here.
After the party, that same evening, 7 children had to be hospitalized, of which 6 were hospitalized at Vinh Long General Hospital with symptoms of stomachache, vomiting, but no fever, no diarrhea. Through investigation, it was found that the children had lunch at school and then showed symptoms of suspected food poisoning.
Currently, the children's health is stable but they are still being monitored.
According to the children's families, after the incident, the school and local authorities visited and encouraged the children.
According to the leader of Phuoc Hau Ward, it is currently unclear what the children ate that day. Authorities are continuing to verify and clarify the incident.
