The project opens up an interesting meeting between two generations of artists who share the same aspiration to bring folk games into modern musical life.

Tuan Cry and Kim Cuong.
Rock Paper Scissors is built as a miniature art festival, where colors, costumes, backgrounds and choreography blend together to create a vibrant space imbued with the Vietnamese spirit. When watching the MV, audiences feel like they are entering a village festival where the 3 teams of Rock - Paper - Scissors compete enthusiastically but still maintain their traditional identity.
Taking on the role of village festival leader, child singer Kim Cuong brings radiant energy and confident demeanor, combining folk beauty with modern EDM vibes.
Musician Tuan Cry shared that he enjoys exploiting Vietnamese cultural materials and is especially attracted to folk games. One time, while watching children playing rock-paper-scissors, he suddenly thought of the "one, two, three - rock-paper-scissors" rhythm and realized that rarely anyone put this game into a proper song, both fun and modern. From that idea, the song was born as a way for him to refresh his childhood memories.
The reason for choosing Kim Cuong to perform the song also came from the coincidence when Tuan Cry learned about her through social media and was immediately attracted by her innocent yet artistic energy. According to him, that is an energy that cannot be faked, perfectly matching the spirit of the song.
"When I finished recording, I was really surprised because the way Kim Cuong handled the modern folk colors was more suitable than what I imagined," he said.
Talking about the difference between Oan Tu Ti and his previous compositions, the musician called this a "childish remix" version. He said that he had written many folk songs but none of them had a mix of folk and EDM elements in a familiar yet fresh way like this.
"I hope that through this song, children will see that Vietnamese folk games are still as good and classy as any trend. I don't expect the song to reach millions of views, I just want it to live in the memories of Vietnamese children. When they grow up, if they remember and smile that they sang Oan Tu Ti when they were young, that would be the most beautiful hit for me," he said.

Child artist Kim Cuong.
As a singer, Kim Cuong once again proves the versatility of a new generation of child artists. Born in 2012, she possesses a clear voice, good foreign language skills and outstanding achievements in many fields such as MC, dancesport, modeling or dubbing. The songs Kim Cuong has performed such as Memories, Hello Vietnam or Vietnam the trips have all reached millions of views. Kim Cuong also made her mark with a series of international awards, notably 15 Gold medals in international open sport dance from 2019 to present.
Kim Cuong also does not hide her admiration for artists Hoang Thuy Linh, Hoa Minzy and Ha Myo - who inspire her in their style of preserving Vietnamese identity in music.
