In the small classrooms at the border or in the bustling classrooms in the city, there are still teachers who tirelessly light the fire of passion in their students with their love for the profession and their quiet devotion. Not only do they impart knowledge, they also open up dreams, awaken potential and instill in each student the confidence to continue on the path of learning. Thanks to those who inspire this fire, many young generations find motivation, direction and even the desire to change their lives.
From milk cans to the village school teacher's orchestra
In recent years, Ham Minh Secondary School, Ham Thuan Nam Commune (Lam Dong) has faced many difficulties in terms of facilities, especially equipment for Music. However, with the enthusiasm and creativity of teacher Ha Minh Tu, music lessons are always as lively as a performance.
Not having drums, the teacher used milk cans, bamboo sticks, and wood and guided the students to make clappers; soft drink can rings were threaded into zinc rings to become tambourines. Green beans were put into plastic bottles and shaken to make Maracas. The whole class was excited to make their own musical instruments, then harmonized with the teacher to create a unique orchestra.
In addition to guiding students to create percussion instruments from discarded milk cans, cake boxes or bamboo tubes, Mr. Ha Minh Tu also inspires students' passion for music through the flexible application of the 2018 General Education Program, especially the content of "Musical Instrument Ensemble". This is a new lesson, helping students directly experience and express emotions through music.

To make the lessons more lively, Mr. Tu encouraged students and their parents to equip themselves with “keyboards”, a musical instrument that can express rich melodies. Initially, he brought his own keyboard to class to illustrate and inspire his students. After a year, thanks to his persistent guidance, most of the students had their own musical instruments, making each lesson more lively and attractive.
Mr. Vo Duc Anh - Vice Principal of Ham Minh Secondary School commented: "Mr. Ha Minh Tu has solid professional capacity, is always dedicated to his profession and devoted to his students. In teaching, he is creative and flexible, helping students love music, develop their talents and confidently express themselves."

Thanks to his dedication and creativity, many students have found their passion for music and have been guided by him to pursue a professional artistic career. Some have achieved high results in singing and performing competitions at the provincial and regional levels, including Nguyen Hoang Hanh Tien, who is currently a singer and vocal teacher.
“Through Mr. Tu’s music lessons, I was inspired by his passion for music, and from then on, I was determined to pursue a singing career and teach vocal music. Many of my friends and juniors were also inspired by Mr. Tu through his creative and fun music lessons,” Hanh Tien shared.
For Mr. Tu, music does not need to be profound, it just needs to touch the hearts of listeners and make students love music lessons. “Seeing the students passionately, I feel that the effort I put in is completely worth it,” he said.
"Digital classroom" of a teacher in the border area
Born and raised in the border area, teacher Nguyen Thi Hong understands better than anyone the hardships of students in the border area. Many students come to class with broken sandals and old backpacks, but they still overcome difficulties to go to school.
That is what kept her at Nguyen Du Primary and Secondary School in Tuy Duc border commune ( Lam Dong ) for more than 10 years, and from a young teacher, Ms. Hong became an inspiration for both teachers and students here.

Ms. Hong shared that teaching in the border area, the difficulty is not only the facilities but also how to make students feel that learning is meaningful and fun. I choose technology as a way to ignite the joy of learning for the children here.
Also from the desire to innovate teaching and learning methods, Ms. Hong began to explore how to use digital tools. From Canva, ChatGPT to interactive learning software, she studied by phone, tested each lecture, adjusted each detail. And then, the first "digital classroom" at Nguyen Du School was born, small but colorful, attractive and full of laughter.
In Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong’s class, the chalkboard gives way to a vivid projection screen. Students not only read and copy but also interact, play and create. Math problems are no longer dry thanks to vivid illustrations; writing exercises become interesting when students can “chat” with AI to find ideas.

“I like it best when the teacher lets us do the exercises through games. She creates fun pictures, we learn and laugh at the same time but still understand the lesson,” said Ho Cat Tuc Mach, a third grade student.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong is also the Secretary of the school's Youth Union. She is the initiator of many creative movements: "Learning with fun with AI", "Experience technology - Discover knowledge", or small competitions using AI to help students demonstrate their creativity.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga, Vice Principal of Nguyen Du Primary and Secondary School, commented that Ms. Hong is dynamic, creative and has great influence. She is not only good at her profession but also has a high sense of responsibility, and is a typical example in the school's digital transformation movement.
Teachers like Mr. Tu and Ms. Hong are lighting the fire of passion in the hearts of their students every day. It is from this dedication that the learning journey becomes easy, full of inspiration and from simple classes, countless dreams are ignited to shine.
