Vietnam General Confederation of Labor supports 1 billion VND for workers and laborers in Dak Lak

On November 24, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded 1 billion VND in support to union members, workers, and laborers in Dak Lak province who suffered heavy losses after the recent major flood.

Comrade Huynh Thanh Xuan, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, presented a symbolic board of support worth 1 billion VND to help workers and laborers of Dak Lak province overcome difficulties.

Funds were mobilized from many trade union organizations across the country to promptly share the difficulties with workers in flooded areas. Through the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation supported 200 million VND, and the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation supported 150 million VND for affected union members.

In addition, the Golden Heart Charity Fund ( Vietnam General Confederation of Labor ) also donated more than 500 blankets, 270 sweaters and 50 pillows to provide immediate living support for families whose houses were deeply flooded and lost property.

Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Huynh Thanh Xuan gave gifts and shared the difficulties of workers.

Sharing the heavy losses caused by storms and floods that workers have had to endure, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Huynh Thanh Xuan expressed his hope that union members will soon overcome the consequences, stabilize their lives and continue production.

“The Trade Union always accompanies workers in any difficult circumstances,” the Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized.
