After the historic flood, people in Khanh Hoa province began returning home, but what awaited them was mud and scattered belongings. People brought tools to clean up the environment, repair houses, schools, and roads as soon as the water receded.

Mr. Dinh Van Tien (72 years old, resident of Tay Nha Trang ward) said that he had never experienced such a big flood in his life. His family did not expect the water to rise so quickly. When they discovered it, it was too late. They only had time to escape, leaving all their belongings behind to be swept away by the water.

Ms. Le Thi Loan (West Nha Trang Ward) said that when the water just receded, she and her husband opened the store and were shocked to see all the goods were in disarray, even though they had previously placed them more than 1 meter high. In previous times, the water rose slowly, only about 50cm at most, but this time the water rose so quickly, forcing the family to evacuate urgently to a safe place.

Most of the property in the house was not moved in time and was damaged after being submerged in water for many days. Many people did not know where to turn when they were left with only empty gardens, empty houses, and furniture swept away.

Mr. Nguyen Van Manh (residing in Tay Nha Trang ward) said that in recent days, auto repair shops in the Nha Trang area have been overloaded. For now, he will tow his car to a temporary parking lot and work with the insurance company on compensation and support.
Sharing the losses and damages of Khanh Hoa province, Ho Chi Minh City is focusing all its efforts, wholeheartedly, wholeheartedly, joining hands and wholeheartedly to support and help overcome the damages caused by natural disasters and floods.
