The fair is one of the most important trade promotion events in the region, contributing to promoting the strategic partnership between Lao Cai province (Vietnam) and Yunnan province (China), while opening up opportunities for extensive economic cooperation between localities and businesses of the two countries.

This year's fair attracts 537 standard booths, including a special exhibition area of nearly 4,000 square meters.

In addition, 24 international pavilions from Russia, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, South Korea and France contributed to elevating the fair to a multinational event, demonstrating the trend of comprehensive cooperation between economies.
The fair space is scientifically and modernly arranged, including areas displaying key export products, technology, cuisine, and an exhibition area of socio-economic achievements of Lao Cai province.

The highlight of this year's fair is the Megalive area, organized for the first time, combined with livestream sales on major e-commerce platforms, helping businesses directly reach a large number of customers nationwide.
In just three days, 13 businesses from 8 provinces and cities introduced 42 products online, with revenue reaching about 500 million VND. The event not only helps businesses sell products but also provides an opportunity to find long-term partners and expand cross-border cooperation networks.
The fair's appeal is also reflected in the more than 250,000 visitors and shoppers, with total sales revenue estimated at over 60 billion VND, reflecting strong purchasing power and the market's ability to consume goods.

Many agricultural products, processed foods, handicrafts and consumer technology were positively received by visitors, especially green products, OCOP, and traditional handicrafts. This is a clear demonstration of the trend of sustainable consumption and the increasing interest in products with cultural and traditional values.
In addition to trade activities, the fair also organizes specialized seminars and a series of sideline activities, helping businesses grasp import-export policies, market requirements, quality standards and logistics.
These activities are valuable opportunities for Vietnamese and Chinese businesses to connect directly, exchange experiences, seek strategic partners and plan long-term development.

Sharing about the fair, Mr. Nguyen Huy Long - Chairman of Lao Cai Province Business Association emphasized: The fair is a strategic platform to expand the network of partners and long-term investment. The series of activities on the sidelines of the fair continued to bring real value. At the conference introducing investment mechanisms, policies and projects, Lao Cai province presented preferential policies for 39 special industries and 70 priority industries in the fields of high technology, supporting industry, clean agriculture and environmental protection.

The conference's outstanding results were 16 memorandums of understanding with a total value of 330 million USD, covering the fields of agriculture, industry - handicrafts, logistics and infrastructure linkage, expanding the production - consumption value chain.
Through the reporter's investigation, Chinese business representatives highly appreciated the improvement of border gate infrastructure and the scientific arrangement of booths; customers are very interested in Vietnamese agricultural products and deeply processed products.

According to the organizers, in addition to trade activities, the fair also promotes cultural and tourism cooperation with art exchange programs, introducing tourist destinations, and experiencing ethnic culture.
Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoa - Deputy Director of the Center for Investment, Trade and Enterprise Support of Lao Cai province commented: The success of the fair is not only measured by the results of trade but also by the ability to promote culture, tourism and investment. The fair has become an important bridge, helping businesses inside and outside the province meet, exchange and expand business opportunities. At the same time, through exhibition activities, experiences and introduction of investment potential, the fair contributes to promoting the image and unique values of Lao Cai to the public.
Along with that, the smooth coordination between customs, border guards and departments and branches of both sides ensures safety, order and transparency, creating a favorable business environment for enterprises, enhancing the reputation of the fair.

The success of the fair affirms Lao Cai's important role as a gateway on the Kunming - Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh economic corridor, connecting the Vietnam - ASEAN and Southwest China markets, creating a solid foundation for comprehensive and sustainable cooperation in the future.
