The 8 largest national parks in Vietnam are ideal destinations for tourists to trek, explore caves, watch birds and enjoy unspoiled nature.

Recently, Lonely Planet suggested 8 National Parks (NPs) worth exploring in Vietnam, "green gold zones" with pristine ecosystems, suitable for tourists who love nature and adventure.

Bach Ma: Discovering wild nature in the middle of Truong Son mountain range

Once a famous resort during the French colonial period, Bach Ma National Park (Thua Thien - Hue ) is located at an altitude of 1,450m, with a cool climate all year round. It is home to more than 1,400 species of plants and 132 species of animals, including the saola, Truong Son muntjac and the rare red-shanked douc langur.
