On the afternoon of November 24, Thanh Nien reporters recorded in My Dien, My Hoa, Phu Dien Trong villages (Hoa Thinh commune, Dak Lak ), after a week of fighting the fierce flood, people were trying their best to clean up, wipe their houses, sweep away mud... Everyone is trying their best to stabilize their lives soon.
However, also in the flood epicenter of Hoa Thinh, there are people who are now just sitting there, wondering where to start again... because their houses have been almost completely destroyed by floodwaters. Thanh Nien reporters crossed the muddy, slippery road to the house of Mr. Vo Ngoc Phuong (84 years old, Hoa Thinh commune) lying alone in the middle of the fields of Hoa Thinh commune. Looking from the outside, the house is so devastated that it is heartbreaking.
Mr. Phuong came out to greet us, then looked at the level 4 house that could barely be salvaged. "Almost everything in the house was swept away and collapsed. I live alone. When I came back from the flood and saw the house like this, I didn't know where to start again," Mr. Phuong said sadly.

Mr. Phuong shed tears many times when talking to Thanh Nien reporter , stuttering, saying he didn't know where to start rebuilding his house.
In addition to the collapsed house, Mr. Chong also suffered heavy losses when hundreds of poultry died.
His leg was swollen but Mr. Chong still endured the pain and cleaned his house after the flood.
The road to Mr. Vo Chong's house (80 years old, Phu Dien Trong village, Hoa Thinh commune) is still isolated because the flood water has not completely receded. After many days of worrying, Mr. Chong returned home with swollen feet, walking slowly but still had to endure the pain to clean the house.
"My family raised 3 cows, 100 chickens died, clothes were washed away and there was nothing left to carry. Half of my house collapsed, the roof tiles and beams were broken everywhere. A few days ago, I injured my leg, soaked in water and now it's still swollen, it hurts a lot but I still endure the pain to clean the house," said Mr. Chong.
Up to now, many relief groups have flocked to this flood epicenter, some giving gifts, some giving money... with the hope of helping people overcome difficulties soon, rebuilding the previously peaceful life of Hoa Thinh village.
Mr. Le Tam Cam lost his cow. His house collapsed, he had to climb up to the mezzanine to avoid the flood.
Mr. Cam currently has to stay at his son's house.
Even though it was cleaned up, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lam's house was still in ruins, the main door and ceiling collapsed.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Liem's property in Phu Dien village was destroyed by flood water.
After 6 days, Mr. Liem still has not been able to clean up the rubble in front and behind his house.
