Tran Phu Primary School: Propagating knowledge and practicing fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue skills

On the morning of November 24, Tran Phu Primary School (Luc Yen Commune) coordinated with the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 3, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, and the Provincial Police to disseminate knowledge and practice fire prevention, firefighting, rescue skills for more than 1,800 teachers and students.

Officers and soldiers of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team No. 3 disseminated legal documents on fire prevention and fighting; fire prevention and fighting responsibilities of agencies, organizations and individuals; provided guidance on developing fire fighting and rescue plans; introduced fire extinguishing agents, fire extinguishing methods and how to use fire prevention and fighting equipment.

Teachers and students practiced using portable fire extinguishers to extinguish burning gas cylinders, rescue people, tie rescue ropes, and save property. In particular, students witnessed a simulated fire drill at school conducted by professional forces and the local Fire Prevention and Fighting team.

The program contributes to raising awareness and responsibility of the grassroots fire prevention and fighting force, teachers and students; helps them master legal regulations and skills in handling fire and explosion situations, while creating close coordination between grassroots and professional fire prevention and fighting forces to limit damage to people and property when an incident occurs.
