Phu Minh Volunteer Team spreads love and support to flood victims

During these days, the spirit of mutual love and support of the people of Phu Xuyen commune is strongly aroused again.

Phu Minh Volunteer Team, Phu Xuyen Commune quickly launched the movement "Towards the Central region - joining hands with people in flood-affected areas", attracting positive response from many people in the area.

With the spirit of “loving others as you love yourself”, the volunteer team members called for donations on social media platforms, and directly went to each alley and each household to mobilize support. In addition to cash support, people also sent the team many essential necessities such as rice, instant noodles, drinking water, clothes, blankets, dry food, medical supplies, etc.

In just 2 days of launching, Phu Minh Volunteer Team received 49,150,000 VND and a large number of goods, including: 2,300 kg of rice; 11 cartons of Fami milk (72 kg); 143 cartons of TH water; 365 cartons of instant noodles; 300 new winter sweatshirts; 128 packages of dry food; 354 ​​loaves of bread; 136 packages of sanitary napkins; 10 new sets of bed sheets; 6 new winter blankets and more than 3.5 tons of old clothes and shoes. All were carefully classified and packaged by the team to be sent to the flooded areas.

Ms. Nguyen Phuong Thinh, representative of the volunteer team, shared: “We just hope to contribute a small part to help people in the flood-affected areas overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
