Domestic tourists mainly come from Hanoi and neighboring provinces, Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces and the Central Highlands region with diverse travel purposes such as: sightseeing, ecology, relaxation, culture - history, festivals, cuisine, conferences, seminars, etc. International tourists mainly come from Western European countries, North America, Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia with the main purposes: relaxation, ecology, cultural experiences, sports .
Thanks to that, Gia Lai province's tourism revenue in 2025 is estimated to reach VND 29,000 billion, an increase of 10% over the same period in 2024.
According to the assessment, the tourism stimulus program in 2025 has been positively responded to by tourism units and businesses in the province; The number of visitors to the province has increased during festivals and major events; promotional activities have been expanded in key and inter-regional markets; many discount packages and service incentives have been applied, contributing to stimulating the demand for travel, accommodation and experiences of tourists. It has been well appreciated by tourists and the business community.
Coordinating with Vietnam Airlines Corporation on night flights creates a media effect, contributing to expanding the choice of time slots for tourists to Gia Lai.
Digital transformation of tourism has been promoted, the tourism data ecosystem has been initially formed; the Gia Lai Tourism Portal platform has been unified and standardized; QR codes at tourist attractions serve tourists' search needs well.
Regional linkage programs, product introductions, participation in fairs and tourism events bring practical results, increasing brand recognition of Gia Lai destination.
In the coming time, in order to continue to promote the tourism development stimulus program, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism expressed its hope that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism will continue to support Gia Lai province in hosting the National Tourism Year 2026.
