Promoting democracy and intelligence to contribute opinions to the Political Report of the Lam Dong Provincial Fatherland Front Congress

On the afternoon of November 24, within the framework of the first working session, the first Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province, term 2025 - 2030, divided into 3 discussion groups.

The discussion groups focused on giving comments on the draft Political Report at the National Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term; giving comments on amending the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and continuing to give comments on the draft Political Report at the 1st Provincial Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2025-2030 term.

Comrade Pham Trieu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee chaired Discussion Group No. 1.

Discussion group No. 1 was chaired by comrade Pham Trieu, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee with 204 delegates participating.

Comrade Ha Thi Hanh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee chaired Discussion Group No. 2.

Discussion group No. 2 was chaired by comrade Ha Thi Hanh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee with 99 delegates participating.

Comrade Truong Van Tung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association chaired and directed Discussion Group No. 3.

Discussion group No. 3 was chaired by comrade Truong Van Tung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association with 98 delegates participating.

Guiding delegates to discuss in groups, the chairpersons asked delegates to focus on the Congress topic, promote democracy, and gather intelligence to contribute practical and quality opinions to the Political Report and Action Program of the new term.

Many opinions, suggestions and dedicated solutions were sent by delegates to the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province, term 2025 - 2030.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Minh, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Society, commented on the need to add the "timely" element to the criteria for supporting and helping families affected by natural disasters.

At discussion group No. 1, comrade Nguyen Quang Minh, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Society, proposed to add an annual target, each residential area should build at least 1 Self-Management Team to maintain effective operations in the community. At the same time, add a target on organizing community-based physical education and sports activities in addition to cultural and artistic activities; timely support and assistance to families affected by natural disasters...

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Truc Commune Doan Le Anh participated in giving comments at Discussion Group No. 2

At Discussion Group No. 2, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Truc Commune Doan Le Anh proposed to continue to pay attention to, consolidate and clarify issues related to border marker planting. Thereby, to ensure stability in the area, maintain sovereignty and create favorable conditions for foreign affairs, to maintain a peaceful environment, promote exchanges, cooperation and mutual support.

In addition, the delegate also emphasized the need to pay more attention to implementing movements of the Women's Union, associated with targets to support women in economic development, building civilized and happy families and actively participating in community activities.

Delegate Nguyen Phuc Hung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dinh Trang Thuong Commune, said that the lack of a Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the commune level makes the activities of the Fatherland Front difficult.

Participating in the discussion group No. 3, delegate Nguyen Phuc Hung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dinh Trang Thuong commune, said that the fact that the commune Fatherland Front Committee does not have a Permanent Vice Chairman to handle the common tasks of the Front and mass organizations makes the operation and organization of the apparatus difficult. In addition, there needs to be a more specific and clear mechanism in coordination between the Fatherland Front and the People's Council and People's Committee of the commune to more effectively carry out the inspection and supervision work.

Agreeing with the above opinion, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Ban Lam Ha Commune Nguyen Trong An added that in implementing the Digital Front, limitations in human resources and machinery cause many difficulties for the grassroots. In addition, the implementation of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" is still in form, and it is recommended that there should be specific and detailed instructions.

After listening to the opinions of the delegates, the chairmen of the 3 discussion groups affirmed that they would accept all of them to continue to supplement and complete the comments on the Political Report at the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026 - 2031 term; contribute to amending the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and continue to contribute comments on the draft Political Report at the 1st Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2025 - 2030 term. At the same time, there will be instructions and orientations to more effectively carry out the tasks of the Fatherland Front in the coming time.
